We’re looking for experienced and customer-centric professionals to add to our Talent Community as Sales Assistants.
As an independent contractor with Virtual Gurus, you will be supported to build up your own business within the safeguards of a welcoming community and clientele. We are looking for virtual assistants keen to wow their customers through contributing their knowledge and skill set to support their clients and their businesses.

Responsibilities

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (MAY VARY DEPENDING ON CLIENT NEEDS)

  • Conduct cold and warm calls to potential clients.
  • Manage and update CRM systems with lead information and status.
  • Assist in generating leads and building lists through various prospecting methods.
  • Follow up with leads to qualify and nurture them through the sales funnel.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support outreach efforts.
  • Identify and research new business opportunities.
  • Provide regular updates on lead status and sales progress.
  • Help prepare sales materials and presentations

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU?

  • Over 3 years of experience in sales, business development or an adjacent role.
  • Proven expertise with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Salesforce, Hubspot., Apollo.io etc.
  • Experience generating RFPs and RFQs is highly desirable.
  • High Technically Adept and open to working with new software.
  • You have the right tools to successfully set you up to work remotely to support your clients to the best of your ability
  • You understand what it means to be a contractor in the respective province or state that you reside.
  • You have a keen attention to detail and accuracy when it comes to documentation.
  • You have a knack for being organized and efficient with your time, and are able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Highly tech-savvy and adaptable to learning new software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Microsoft Office Suite comes second nature to you, and you are confident with your ability to navigate through spreadsheets like a wiz
  • You have a reputation for your commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
