DUE WORKLOADS WITHIN OUR NEWLY OPENED FLOORING SHOWROOM WE REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL STAFF FOR OUR TEAM

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join a growing business at our new flooring showroom at Newcastle Great Park. The role offers the opportunity to join us at an exciting time as we return to the retail environment with the launch of a flagship showroom offering high quality flooring solutions alongside interior design services, window dressings, accessories, paint, wallpaper and furniture.

ABOUT US

Home Flooring is part of the Inside Contracts Group, a well-established market leader, operating in multiple sectors including new build housing, education, hospitality, healthcare and retail.
We work with many clients locally and nationally providing tailored solutions in flooring, interior design, bespoke furniture, lighting, soft furnishings and window dressings. Additionally, we offer cleaning services both interior and external to house builder and domestic clients. Our cleaning services include carpets, upholstery, brickwork, driveways and patios.
The group employs around eighty people and additionally over forty subcontractors. As an established business we have built a loyal customer and supplier base that have worked with us over many years.

REQUIREMENTS

• Possess excellent customer service skills with a friendly approachable manner
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to interact with a wide variety of customers
• Hold a willingness to learn about new products, accessories, installation, etc.
• IT proficient and willing to learn in house systems
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work as part of a team
  Working Hours – Five days per week, Monday to Saturday 10.00am to 6.00pm (inc. 30 min unpaid lunch break) with one day off on a Rota

You will be a vital part of our team. Responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and assisting customers providing them with exceptional service
• Offering customers advice and guidance on the suitability of a wide range of floor coverings
• Recording customer details, arranging appointments and site measures
• Preparing quotes and sales orders, ensuring accuracy with a keen attention to detail
• Maintaining high standards of the showroom appearance ensuring areas are clean, organised and that products are well displayed
• Working collaboratively with the Flooring and Interiors Managers to achieve sales targets
