As a Sales Assistant based in our Ilkeston branch, you’ll be responsible for: Providing expert advice to customers by understanding their specific needs and providing product recommendations Handling customer queries and provide solutions, including sourcing, quoting, and managing special orders Proactively contacting customers to build relationships and drive branch sales particularly focusing on customers with reduced or inactive spending Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product developments, market trends, and industry changes Coordinating with suppliers to source materials, check availability, and negotiate costs. This is a full time permanent role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 07.30am - 5.00pm and Saturday mornings on a rota basis 08.00am - 12.00pm.
