Beauty Systems Group/BSG (division of Sally Beauty Holdings) is the largest full-service distributor of top professional beauty supplies in the world. BSG operates under the brands of CosmoProf and Armstrong McCall, which are a network of small specialty stores and Distributor Sales Consultants who sell exclusive professional salon brands to licensed beauty professionals.
We are currently searching for an enthusiastic Part Time Sales Associate to join our growing team! As a Sales Associate, you will be part of a team-oriented and dynamic environment dedicated to servicing customers in the professional beauty industry. We believe that our success is based primarily on the quality and hard work of our valued team members, dedicated to providing our customers with the product knowledge and education needed to enhance their own success in the Beauty World.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent customer service skills with prior cash handling experience is a plus
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holiday hours as needed
  • Be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally
  • Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent
    · Be 18 years of age or older
    Holding a license in cosmetology is desirable but not required
Responsibilities

· Put Customers First: Ensure that the optimal customer experience is achieved by assessing customer needs and explaining features and benefits on our products, taking pride in an excellent store appearance and maintaining high standards of merchandising
· Accountability: Record all sales transactions in the Point of Sale System and handle all monetary transactions accurately and effectively
· Have a Bias for Action: Follow safety and security rules and procedures, as well as Company policies
· Act as One: Demonstrate the highest level of ethical standards, with a drive to uphold and embrace our “Culture of Can Do”
· Be an Innovator: Keep current with beauty trends, share knowledge and ideas with our professional customers and come up with new ways to promote our products
