REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-3 years proven experience as a Sales Agent in the precious metals or financial services industry, with a focus on gold bullion.
  • Demonstrable experience with the gold “fixing” process or a deep understanding of its methodology and significance in global bullion pricing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • A strong understanding of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
  • Fluency in English & Hindi is essential; knowledge of other languages such as Arabic is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a fast-paced, high-performance team

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Agent to join our dynamic team in the heart of the Dubai gold market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in gold bullion sales and a strong understanding of the “gold fixing” process. This role is crucial for sourcing and managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, ensuring seamless and compliant transactions, and expanding our market presence in the Middle East.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Management & Business Development: Develop and manage a portfolio of gold bullion clients, including investors, refineries, and private institutions. Proactively identify and acquire new business through networking, lead generation, and market research.
  • Transaction Execution: Execute customer trades and manage orders efficiently. Reconcile daily trading activity and ensure all transactions adhere to strict regulatory standards (e.g., KYC/AML).
  • Market Analysis & Pricing: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global market trends, including gold price. Understand how the daily “gold fix” impacts pricing and use this knowledge to advise clients and facilitate trades..
  • Sales Strategy & Reporting: Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies. Track sales performance against targets and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with Dubai’s commercial laws, as well as international precious metals regulations and best practices outlined in the Global Precious Metals Code.
