STORE CLERK – HOME FURNISHINGS & FURNITURE (IMMEDIATE START)

Part-time (20–30 hours/week), with potential for full-time
Hourly wage + Commission per sale/– Based on experience

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of retail or sales experience (preferred)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
• Comfortable with physical tasks including bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods
• Available to work weekends

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and energetic Store Clerk to join our home furnishings and furniture retail team. This is a physically active role that requires someone who enjoys working with customers, managing inventory, and keeping a well-organized store. Training will be provided, but 5 retail experience is required!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate cash register and handle customer transactions
• Greet and assist customers with product selection and advice
• Prepare merchandise for sale and assist with displays
• Receive and unpack shipments; stock shelves accordingly
• Record inventory using manual or computerized systems
• Load and unload goods as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
