This role requires availability to work on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in sales, retail, or interior design (window furnishings experience highly regarded).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent customer service and consultative selling ability.
  • Ability to read measurements and basic understanding of installation requirements.
  • Proficiency with, or willingness to learn computer systems (excel, outlook, google calendar, xero, etc).
  • Highly motivated, organised, and detail-oriented.
  • Access to reliable transport and/or a car, with the ability to commute to work punctually.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Sales Associate, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing product knowledge, design advice, and tailored solutions. You will assist customers in selecting window furnishings that suit their style, budget, and functional needs while ensuring a seamless customer experience from consultation through to order placement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greet and engage customers in the showroom, over the phone, and via email.
  • Provide expert product knowledge across blinds, curtains, shutters, and awnings (training is provided).
  • Supply quick quotes to customers in store.
  • Recommend solutions based on customer needs, style preferences, and budget.
  • Process orders and liaise with suppliers and installers to ensure smooth delivery and installation.
  • Maintain the showroom’s appearance and update displays as needed.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
