JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Sales Associate
Reports to: Management
Status: Full Time

Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers to the showroom and provide high-level customer service including, but not limited to, providing product recommendations, pricing, quotes, product availability, installation guidance and alternative options. All information provided must be accurate and presented in a clear manner to ensure smooth transactions and a premium customer experience.
  • Process payments, invoices and other sales documents on SPRUCE point of sales system and Toolbx online platform.
  • Complete closing procedure and bank deposit at end of day.
  • Monitor email and respond to customers and coworkers in a timely matter.
  • Participate in product knowledge meetings to learn details about new and existing products. Ask questions and share information to strengthen the sales team’s understanding of product strengths and limitations.
  • Help new staff members with customers and ensure they are providing the level of service/professionalism expected at MLS.
  • Keep showroom clean and tidy (return sample boards to the shelf, dust and clean samples, keep them organized).
  • Be kind and courteous to all customers/contractors in every situation.
  • Maintain our code of conduct.
  • Keep appearance professional and tidy.
  • Assist with annual inventory count and recording of inventory quantities
