POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and motivated Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate has a flair for customer service, an interest in home improvement or design, and a willingness to learn about our products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Interest or experience in paint, hardware, or home improvement is a plus

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Utilize effective communication skills to explain technical aspects of products clearly.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Maintain an organized sales floor through effective merchandising techniques.
• Manage point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently while ensuring a smooth checkout process.
• Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
• Demonstrate strong time management skills by prioritizing tasks effectively throughout the shift.
