Perfect Surfaces, Canada’s leading supplier of high-quality sports flooring and specialty surfaces, is seeking a motivated Sales Associate to join our dynamic Sales team. The ideal candidate will grow the social selling component of the company by leveraging social media to build relationships with potential customers and ultimately drive sales, in addition to performing a traditional inside sales role- building relationships with potential clients and closing sales. Duties & Responsibilities

The Sales Associate is a full-time position (40 hours a week, Monday-Friday) compensated annually, between $45,000 - $60,000, based on experience. The initial role of the Sales Associate is to perform an inside sales role while growing the social selling component of the company. Initial duties and responsibilities may include:

  • Product knowledge training to confidently provide technical sales support;
  • Supporting business development activities to expand Perfect Surfaces’ client base;
  • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities;
  • Communicating with customers via social media, phone, live chat and email;
  • Building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing customers;
  • Collaborating with the Sales team to meet sales targets.

Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for a self-motivated, goal-oriented candidate with excellent basic skills (organization, prioritization, communication, multitasking, etc.) who has a strong desire to excel in a sales role. The successful candidate will be trained in our business management software (NetSuite and WooCommerce) and product knowledge. Although specific education and training are not required for this position, it is imperative that the successful candidate possess the following:

  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal;
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport and relationships;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace is required;
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience is required;
  • Minimum one year of social selling experience is required.
