POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Representative to join our team, specializing in cattle feed sales to dairy operations. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of dairy nutrition, livestock management, and relationship-based sales. The Sales Rep will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with dairy producers, understanding their nutritional needs, and recommending appropriate feed solutions from our product line.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, comfortable working independently in the field, and capable of providing on-farm support and expertise. This position combines technical knowledge with sales acumen to help dairy producers achieve optimal herd health and performance.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple clients
  • Solid understanding of the sales process and sales support functions
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in dairy nutrition, livestock feed sales, or a related agriculture field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
  • High attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role that involves strategic planning, organization, and proactive problem-solving
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
