Sales Associate - Part-time

We are looking for an energetic, top performer, with a talent for selling and providing memorable client relationships in a retail environment.

Accountability:

• You will leverage your relationships skills, experience and good judgment to proactively approach clients, sell quality furniture and provide valuable solutions
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients through on-going consultative discussions over the phone and in-person
• Provide memorable client experiences while professionally executing the sales process and contributing to the company’s success
• Proactively educate on furniture products, vendors and styles to provide quality recommendations for client
• Collaborate with the sales teams to assist with the customer experience
• Participate in the design, layout and cleanliness of furniture on the floor to market quality brands
• Process all sales transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Position Requirements:
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a retail sales environment

• Highly self-motivated and results-oriented, target driven, possessing passion and a commitment to exceed sales targets
• Experience interacting and selling to clients in a fast paced retail environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues (written and verbal)
• Ability to show leadership when managing the potentially competing requirements of clients
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic, fast-paced and energetic environment
• Ability to perform at a high level independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
• Previous experience selling quality furniture in a commission environment is an asset
