GENERAL SUMMARY As part of a team, works with store management to achieve established goals and provide exceptional customer services. Assist with job training and mentorship for individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities, autism, acquired brain injury or other unique challenges. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS* * Greets customers and provides information on sales items; informs customers of the Agency’s mission. * Performs transactions utilizing a cash register, computer or credit card machine. * Prices products and performs regular inventory checks. * Prepares items for sale including small repairs and cleaning. * Maintains clean and arranged sales floor for displaying items. * Reviews items to be considered for donation or sale. * Researches items to determine authenticity and pricing. * In collaboration with Job Coaches and Vocational leadership, provides job training and mentorship for the individuals we serve. * Serves as mandated reporter for suspected cases of abuse and/or neglect to the Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC). SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY * No supervisory responsibility.   WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS * Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. * Ability to move, lift and carry items weighing 35-40 pounds. * Exposure to the elements       *External and internal applicants, as well as position incumbents who become disabled as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act must be able to perform the essential job functions (as listed) either unaided or with the assistance of a reasonable accommodation to be determined by management on a case by case basis.
