JOB PURPOSE:
As part of our Retail Team, the Sales Associate is responsible for creating a client experience that accurately reflects the ethos of our brand while building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service. The ideal candidate is committed to client service, demonstrating a strong understanding of, if not passion for luxury, travel, fashion, and lifestyle markets. The TUMI retail environment encourages an entrepreneurial spirit, offering growth opportunities over time as worked together increases sales, KPI’s, build client awareness, provide world-class service, and grow the brand.
MAIN TASKS:
- In an exclusive atmosphere, you will introduce our customers to the large collection of the TUMI world and provide expert advice.
- Your excellent customer service combined with sales skills and empathy for the traveling customer will lead you to success.
- You conscientiously handle the operation and billing of the cash register.
- With skill and attention to detail, you will ensure that our high-quality products are presented in an inviting manner based on the specified guidelines.
- You will also enthusiastically support internal events and promotions.
OPERATIONS /ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
- Handle telephone inquiries in a polite, helpful and efficient manner; and ensure all messages are communicated.
- Ensure all customer inquiries/orders are communicated to Head Office in accordance with Company Procedures.
- Carry out stock and personnel administration as directed by Management.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- To perform duties of a similar nature as required and directed by Management.
- Preferred Skills & Qualities
- Previous retail sales experience, in a service led environment.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Constant standing, bending, frequent lifting of luggage up to 15 kilos
