THE OPPORTUNITY As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in supporting our Sales Team and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. This position is designed to maximize selling time and streamline the order process by partnering closely with assigned sales team members. You’ll manage existing customer accounts, respond to daily product and service requests, and assist walk-in clients through the entire sales process - from initial inquiry to order completion. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate customer needs. By delivering accurate orders and providing outstanding service, you’ll help drive customer satisfaction and contribute to the overall success of the sales team. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales, offering a unique opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic, customer-focused environment. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Providing sales and support for account maintenance activity; engaging with Sales in support of our customers, offering a seamless transition through the sales process resulting in a better customer experience. Providing product expertise for account maintenance activity; engaging with Workplace Resource Sales Executives in support of our customers, offering a seamless transition through the sales process resulting in a better customer experience. Responding to bid solicitations, pricing proposals and customer requests accurately and in a timely manner. Assist with Design deliverables as needed – including validation packages, service and warranty information and product cut sheets. Providing order support by verifying customer information is current or setting up a new customer, securing credit application for new customer, generating a quote number, processing the order, and submitting to accounting for invoicing of Workplace Resource completed projects. Handling all small orders where design is not involved, deciphering a solution for the client. Creating simple quotes and determining scope of work Support site visits and/or walkthroughs as needed.
