Description

Position Description: Our Equipment Sales Associate interacts with our customers, in person, online, and over the phone to help guide their purchase. Our Sales Associates respond to leads in a timely fashion, answer questions, provide information and help guide customers effectively from initial phone/ internet contact through the completion of their in-store experience. The focus is to provide an exceptional customer experience with outstanding communication and listening skills. The Sales Associate will help Zimmerer Kubota customers select their perfect equipment and negotiate contract terms that ensures their financing options align with lifestyles, budgets, and expectations. Our sales consultants provide an exceptional customer experience, both before and after purchase, driving loyalty by following up to ensure customer satisfaction after the sale. Position Responsibilities:

  • Interact with hundreds of customers to help guide them in their equipment purchase, asking questions and listening carefully.
  • Search our national inventory of Kubota equipment to help find the perfect match for your customer.
  • Describe all optional equipment and accessories available for customer purchase, explain in detail product features and benefits.
  • Use outstanding communication and listening skills to help negotiate terms that ensure payment options meet your customers lifestyles, budgets, and expectations; close the deal.
  • Deliver a minimum number of units each month.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience, driving loyalty by following up to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Help transition customers to our Service departments to support their ownership experience, selling the quality and convenience of service repairs and/or aftermarket parts and accessories available in Zimmerer Kubota service departments.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Essential Requirements -

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Drive to set and achieve targeted goals
  • Prior sales experience, retail preferred
  • Demonstrated communication, consultative, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • The willingness to follow up with customers
  • Experience and desire to work with technology
  • Valid in-state drivers license and an acceptable, safe driving record
