ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Sales & Business Development Associate you will be responsible for supporting the sales & marketing to the Chinese segment - connecting ambitious Chinese students with life‑changing opportunities at the world’s best universities.
Based in Auckland and reporting to the Head of Chinese Market, this is a role for someone who thrives on impact, driving new customer growth, building strong relationships, and fuelling the expansion of a company that’s redefining what’s possible in education. You will work closely with our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success team to drive new customer growth and retention in our NZ Chinese Market.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (RESPONSIBILITIES)

Sales Bookings: Proactively engage with leads and prospects to schedule consultations with the Chinese team. Call and follow up with the leads to ensure the consultation is happening on time.
Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on predetermined criteria to ensure the academic advisor will be on high-potential opportunities.
Business Development: Develop and own initiatives to generate new business leads for consultations. Support the Head of the Chinese Market to work with more business partnerships with aligned organisations.
Tracking Record: Use Salesforce to manage leads, track activity, and report progress. Maintain and keep track of all calls and chats’ records to ensure the consultations have been booked and set on success.
Client Communication: Responsible Wechat clients management, handle inbound questions, and maintain active communication with clients.
Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team member to support the marketing information, materials, attend marketing events, webinar and any marketing related task when required.
