SUMMARY

The Sales & Business Development Engineer, ensures the commercial development of Mobile Water Solutions activities and brand awareness in their region. Activities include participating in communication actions, prospecting potential new customers, preparing proposals in cooperation with the process experts, negotiating prices, developing strategies to boost sales, managing the customer portfolio, and ensuring commercial follow-up with customers in order to make them customer for life. The Sales & Business Development Engineer plays a crucial role in business & profitability growth. The Sales & Business Development Engineer, North & East of Germany reports to the Division Sales Manager, Northern Europe.
The role is home office-based position with frequent travel and industrial site visits within the region.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree or Engineering degree or equivalent in commerce or technical.
  • Proven (technical) experience in sales, preferably in the field of water treatment or a related industry.
  • Extensive working experience in sales & business development in the water and wastewater treatment industry
  • Experience and proven capability to work across cultures, borders, and different methods of executing business within an international team.
  • Proficiency in English and German to communicate effectively and clearly with both technical and non-technical personnel, including clients, team members, and management.
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License to drive in the region
