Sales Executive – Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Increase the company’s monthly sales revenue and consistently work toward month-on-month sales growth.
• Achieve and exceed the assigned monthly sales targets.
• Handle incoming sales inquiries from WhatsApp, phone calls, social media, email, showroom visits, factory visits, and other company channels.
• Respond to new inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Understand each client’s requirements, including product type, dimensions, materials, finishes, quantity, budget, and required delivery date.
• Present suitable products, materials, finishes, and customization solutions according to the client’s requirements.
• Prepare quotations and coordinate with the estimation/design team whenever technical pricing is required.
• Actively follow up on all quotations and inquiries until they are confirmed, postponed, or officially closed.
• Convert leads and inquiries into confirmed orders and continuously improve the sales conversion rate.
• Maintain a strong and active sales pipeline and ensure that potential opportunities are not lost due to lack of follow-up.
• Proactively contact potential and previous clients to generate new sales opportunities.
• Develop new client relationships while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
• Generate repeat business and referrals from existing clients.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, including additional furniture pieces, matching items, upgraded materials, finishes, and customization.
• Arrange and coordinate client meetings, showroom visits, factory visits, and material/slab selections when required.
• Explain the company’s products, customization capabilities, materials, production process, lead times, payment terms, and delivery procedures clearly to clients.
• Follow up on material selections, design approvals, advance payments, outstanding balances, and other requirements necessary to move the order forward.
• Ensure that all client requirements and approved specifications are properly documented before handing confirmed orders to the design and production teams.
• Coordinate closely with the design, estimation, engineering, production, accounts, and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of confirmed orders.
• Maintain accurate and updated information for every lead in the company CRM/system, including client contact details, requirements, quotation value, status, follow-up date, notes, and actual closing information.
• Update leads daily and ensure no inquiry remains unattended or without a clear follow-up action.
• Maintain proper records of new leads, qualified leads, quotations, confirmed orders, lost opportunities, and sales values.
• Follow up with clients after delivery when appropriate to maintain the relationship and identify future opportunities.
• Handle client communication professionally and maintain a high standard of customer service throughout the full sales process.
• Understand the company’s products, materials, pricing structure, ongoing promotions, and available offers.
• Keep updated on market trends, competitor offerings, client preferences, and potential sales opportunities.
• Submit daily and weekly sales reports showing inquiries received, follow-ups completed, quotations issued, confirmed orders, pending opportunities, lost leads, and sales value.
• Review individual monthly performance and take proactive action when sales are below target.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations to management for improving sales volume, conversion rate, customer experience, and monthly revenue.
• Represent Marbeya Charm / Marbeya United Group professionally in all communication and interaction with clients.

Main Objective of the Role: Consistently increase monthly selling amount by generating opportunities, following up effectively, converting qualified leads into confirmed orders, developing long-term client relationships, and achieving the company’s monthly sales targets.
