We’re seeking an entrepreneurial “hunter” with B2B sales expertise and battery/power system knowledge. You thrive on ambiguity, self-initiation, and building strong global relationships. With strong commercial awareness, good communications skills, and sensitivity to culture, you’ll excel at forging sales for on-grid, off-grid, micro-grids, and EV charging projects. Tenacity, adaptability, and a will to make an impact are essential.

Responsibilities

Your goal is to boost sales and grow the new energy business by working closely with local Market Units and taking the lead on key initiatives.

  • Drive sales pipeline from lead generation to contractual negotiation and closing.
  • Build strong commercial and technical proposals with support and deliveries for impact.
  • Negotiate major commercial terms and define deals that deliver growth and profitability.
  • Build and own key customer, partner, and industry participant relationships.
  • Drive exploration and introduction of new business models (e.g., Battery-as-a-Service, flexible energy offerings) to unlock new revenues.

You will interact regularly with customers, sales, service, support and Product management across Volvo Penta. Additionally, you will represent Volvo Penta Industrial in the exhibitions, conferences, business magazines and fairs, with interactions extending to other Business Areas within the Volvo Group.
