Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

CSD Millwright is seeking a driven and organized Sales / Business Development Representative to join our team. This role is integral to supporting our growing operations by managing customer relationships, coordinating quoting and approvals, and ensuring smooth communication between departments. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between operations, administration, and clients, ensuring all aspects of project development and delivery run efficiently and effectively.
CSD Millwright places a strong emphasis on hands-on learning and operational understanding. As such, the qualified candidate is expected to be based in Nisku for approximately the first two months of employment—regardless of their permanent residence. This initial period is essential for in-depth training, shadowing, and immersion in the day-to-day operations, allowing the new hire to develop a foundational understanding of our workflows, customer expectations, and internal processes. Once the candidate has demonstrated sufficient knowledge and competence in both operational and client-facing aspects of the role, their presence in Nisku will shift to once or twice per week, as needed. This approach ensures the individual is set up for success and can contribute meaningfully while maintaining strong alignment with our team and culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or business development—preferably in an industrial or trades environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems (experience with quoting software is an asset).
  • Knowledge of millwright or mechanical service industries is an advantage. Background in solids control is an asset.
  • TDG, WHMIS, H2S and First Aid tickets required.
Responsibilities
  • Quoting & Approvals:

Prepare, review, and submit detailed quotes for client projects. Coordinate and follow up on approval processes to ensure timely execution. Submit to Al & Cory for approvals

  • Customer Engagement:

  • Progress Reporting:

Develop and distribute regular updates and progress reports for customers and internal stakeholders.

  • Operations & Admin Liaison:

Serve as a communication bridge between the operations team and administrative departments to ensure alignment and accurate information flow.

  • Inventory Coordination:
