Description

ABOUT US

Our story started with one man and one home. Back in 1949, our founder Gary Simonds built his first ever home for his Mum in Melbourne’s west. Now, 74 years on with a business spanning 3 generations, we continue to honour this rich heritage with every home we build. We’ve cemented an enduring legacy, built strong foundations and forged through seven decades as one of Australia’s leading ASX listed volume home builders. This guiding vision continues to drive our commitment to providing quality and affordable homes for families at all stages of life.
Our homes are built for the community, by the community, with our local network of employees, trades and suppliers all working towards this vision as One Simonds. It is this passion, dedication and excellence that you’ll find on every Simonds job site, office environment and display centre across the country.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a motivated and driven Sales Cadet to join our Shepparton (Kialla Lakes) display home. This cadetship opportunity will put the successful applicant onto a succession plan to become a fully fledged Sales Consultant with Simonds Homes. To get you there, we’ll provide you with on-the-job training, secondment opportunities, and mentoring from some of Australia’s best salespeople.
This position is a full-time opportunity and the successful candidate will be expected to work consistent weekends. The typical working days will be Thursday to Monday (with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off).

Some responsibilities of a Sales Cadet include but are not limited to:

  • Facilitate the purchase of Simonds homes from initial enquiry to issue of contract
  • Establish new sales networks to assist in increasing sales opportunities
  • Accurately recording lead details in our CRM software Hubspot
  • Provide an exceptionally high level of customer service at all times
