Position Overview
We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Salesclerk to join our team. If you enjoy engaging with people, learning about new products, and working in a laid-back retail environment, this could be the right fit for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and provide exceptional in-store service
  • Assist customers in selecting products and answering questions
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle transactions
  • Check IDs to ensure compliance with age-restricted product sales
  • Restock shelves, maintain store cleanliness, and organize displays
  • Learn about new products and stay informed on industry trends
  • Follow all store policies and BC provincial regulations

Requirements

  • Must be 19 years of age or older (per BC laws)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Retail or cashier experience is an asset (but not required)
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Responsible, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Comfortable handling tobacco and vape-related products
  • Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
