Description

Title: Sales / Client Engagement Principal
Location: This is a hybrid-based role in Sydney with a blend of working from home, our DiUS office & working on-site with clients.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in business development or sales roles within the technology industry, ideally within a consulting organisation for part of this time
  • Demonstrated success in developing & executing strategic sales initiatives, and lead generation
  • Demonstrated success in revenue achievement from business development initiatives
  • Experience leading pre-sales - understanding client needs and requirements, collaborating with team members to coordinate a response, helping to create and shape recommendations, estimations and timing
  • Experienced in consultative selling - ideas and concepts, not just a pre-defined product like SaaS

  • A strong understanding of digital technology solutions (software languages & frameworks, IoT, AI, ML, Data, Cloud)
  • Able to deal with ambiguity and navigate the way through an unchartered course

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a strategic role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence in Sydney, with a core focus on identifying and winning new business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, as well as nurturing and expanding existing client relationships.
We are not peddling defined products or SaaS - we design, build and deploy bespoke software solutions, tailored to meet a clients need and address a business problem.
This role is all about consultative selling; pitching ideas and concepts, working with our consultants to design solutions from the ground up, and leading negotiations to close high-value contracts. It’s about being a true partner to clients, and delivering great outcomes.
