JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sales Co-Ordinator to join our team. To comply with all Courthouse Shoreditch Hotel, departmental SOP and Hotel standards.

SKILLS

  • Minimum 1-2 years with previous sales, banquet, events, and conference services.
  • Possess strong communication skills, a natural organizer who is highly detailed and able to engage with clients and staff.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Working knowledge of Opera is beneficial.
Responsibilities
  • Proactively take on new business research and market mapping to achieve new business targets.
  • Previous experience within the events market in London, ideally within the 4-5* star market.
  • Confirming events (proposal, site inspection, contracting) and ensuring post event follow up to confirm repeat business.
  • Assist in day to day running of event and groups.
  • Proactively respond to the various online enquiry portals such as Cvent, Venue Directory, Hirespace, Tagvenue, Venue Scanner, Canvas Events, My Events Channel.
  • Convert business and upsell additional products at contract stage (such as higher room categories, drinks receptions, enhanced F&B offerings).
  • Engages with clients/agents in relation to their enquiries.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability when personalising client needs and the changing demand and priorities of the business; understands the importance of yielding and the demand calendar.
  • Have an eye for detail - create personalised proposals through Upmail for events tailored for individual clients.
  • Actively contributes to your immediate as well as wider hotel and regional teams, identifying opportunities and improvements to ways of working.
