Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Commissions and Operations Analyst to join our fast-paced Strategy & Operations team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and timely calculation, administration, and analysis of sales commissions for our entire sales force as well as supporting GTM reporting, headcount planning, and analysis of the business as the company continues to grow and scale.
The successful candidate will work closely with the sales, finance, and HR teams to implement and maintain commission structures, resolve commission-related queries, and identify opportunities to enhance our processes. Your expertise will be crucial in optimising the effectiveness of our sales compensation plans.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Commission Calculation and Reporting:
  • Accurately calculate sales commissions based on established commission plans and sales performance metrics
  • Ensure timely and error-free processing of commission payments to sales representatives
  • Review and validate commission calculations for completeness and accuracy
  • Analyse sales performance data to track trends, identify outliers, and provide insights into commission payout distributions
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to communicate commission-related metrics and performance to Addepar’s executive team
  • Find opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
  • Continue to buildout Addepar’s sales commission techstack
  • Commission Plan Management:
  • Maintain and update commission plan documentation, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Monitor and evaluate commission plan effectiveness, recommending adjustments as needed to drive desired sales behaviours and outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standard methodologies in commission administration
  • Implement and maintain controls to safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of commission data
  • Business Operations & Insights:
  • Support the reporting and analysis of headcount data, providing the business with a clear picture of our team’s structure and growth
  • Go beyond commissions to deliver broader business insights. You’ll analyse various operational data to help leadership make informed decisions and improve overall performance
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Partner with finance and human resources teams to ensure alignment of commission calculations with payroll processes and compliance requirements
  • Work closely with the Strategy & Ops team to reconcile sales data, resolve discrepancies, and address inquiries related to commissions
