The Ministry Sales Consultant is a full-time role that combines consultative sales expertise with a heart for ministry, responsible for driving growth and maximizing sales of curriculum products within an assigned territory. This position engages prospects and customers through proactive conversations via phone, email, and chat, guiding them through the process to ensure they fully understand their purchase while delivering an exceptional experience. More than sales, this role is ministry in action, helping churches invest in the right resources to support their mission. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-centric, self-directed, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while building long-term relationships that foster acquisition, retention, and commitment. This position is in our corporate office in Colorado Springs. Responsibilities Proactively make high volume daily outbound calls and/or emails to potential new direct and existing customers. Promptly responding to leads by dialing outbound up to 50-75 dials per day. Setting appointments with prospects to consult with them regarding the best products for their needs. Meet or exceed all assigned sales goals by effective territory management of acquisition selling activities. Establish new relationships with church and consumer decision makers to maximize future growth opportunities. Process new order requests, create automatic orders on new accounts. Document activities in database and communicate requests and/or customer comments to appropriate departments. Continuing Education - Keep current on products, marketing offers, and web site. Review and maintain up to date information regarding current policies and procedures, new products, special offers, current marketing initiatives and changes in existing products. Effectively utilize technology platforms, CRM systems, order entry and other systems. Maintain and update as needed. Work closely with the sales team members, providing consistent feedback and communication regarding shared accounts. Collaborate internally with other sales team members and across departments to find solutions when issues arise.
