Build rapport quickly and identify customer needs, preferences, and purchase goals. Guide customers through the sales process in a professional, informative, and seamless manner. Demonstrate vehicle features, benefits, and technology with confidence and clarity. Conduct test drives and explain performance, safety, and ownership advantages. Present vehicle options, pricing, and purchase or lease solutions tailored to the customer. Maintain strong knowledge of inventory, product features, and current incentives. Manage and follow up on leads, showroom traffic, and customer inquiries consistently. Document customer interactions, activities, and pipeline progress accurately in dealership systems. Partner with sales leadership and finance to move deals forward efficiently. Deliver vehicles with attention to detail, ensuring customers understand key features and functions. Maintain ongoing relationships to drive repeat business and referrals. Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance expectations. Represent the dealership with professionalism, integrity, and a customer-first mindset. What We Are Looking For Prior sales, retail, hospitality, or customer-facing experience preferred (automotive a plus). Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust quickly. A consultative, customer-focused approach to sales. Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to succeed in a performance-based environment. Ability to present information clearly and confidently in multiple settings. Strong follow-up habits, organization, and attention to detail. Ability to learn product knowledge, systems, and dealership processes quickly. Professionalism and reliability. Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team mindset. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Pay: $44,800 - $83,000 / year is the expected total annual earnings after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commissions, overtime, benefits (vacation and sick), etc. Employees in this position will primarily be paid commission, but they will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods. Commissions range from $35,700 to $75,400 per year based on performance.
