We have an opportunity to join the sales team at our Alnwick branch on a 6 month fixed-term contract. This is a great opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and enthusiastic individual who wants to work in a busy and varied role.
You will provide excellent customer service at all times, working towards set sales targets by selling the full range of products to both retail and trade customers.
The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, to assist them in developing ongoing working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers. Previous customer service and/or sales experience is advantageous, as well as a proven track record selling and negotiating, both in person and over the phone.
It is essential that you are able to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling changing priorities by being adaptable and resilient.
Although you will primarily work in the sales team, there may be the need, on occasion, to also work across the busy warehouse and yard area. Therefore, previous relevant experience in this area would be preferable.
