SALES CONSULTANT: KEY ACCOUNTS

Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours
Department: External Sales
Location: The successful candidate should live within the Manchester area with quick access to motorway networks (M1 corridor).

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The client prefer candidates with an engineering background, and a must have proven track record in selling to large customers with multiple contacts across multiple sites. However, if you do not have an engineering background, you must demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and possess the drive, competitiveness, and attitude necessary to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

As a Sales Consultant for Key Accounts, you will be responsible for managing large production OEMs across multiple sites. Your primary focus will be on growing the business within the Manchester area machine & device manufacturers sector by selling to senior management, supply chain, and engineers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Create and work to a sales plan.
  • Develop sales by understanding customer needs and building strong relationships.
  • Promote corporate value propositions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets.
  • Maintain good working relationships with their distributor sales partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities using their CRM system.
