Sales Consultant

Salary: £25,500 basic salary + uncapped commission

OTE: £50,000-£60,000+

Location: Poole

Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7

Schedule: Monday-Sunday rota, including every weekend

The Opportunity

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Consultant with proven furniture retail experience to join a successful, fast-paced retail team.

The Role

As a Sales Consultant, you'll be responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging experience for every customer. You will:

• Welcome customers and build strong relationships.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable furniture and products.
• Deliver an excellent end-to-end customer experience.
• Work towards individual and team sales targets.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Follow company processes and health & safety procedures.
• Identify solutions to customer needs and resolve issues confidently.
• Take pride in delivering a consistently high standard of service.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working in furniture retail and a proven track record in a furniture sales environment.
• Is motivated, enthusiastic and keen to succeed.
• Has a strong customer service and sales focus.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is confident communicating with a wide range of customers.
• Is reliable, organised and comfortable working in a busy retail environment.
• Can follow systems and processes while using initiative to solve problems.
• Takes pride in their work and is committed to getting things right.
• Is comfortable working weekends and during busy trading periods.
• Understands the importance of delivering a high-quality customer journey from initial enquiry through to completion.

Furniture retail experience is essential for this role. We are particularly interested in candidates who have experience selling furniture, working to sales targets and providing a consultative service to customers.
