Merchant Automotive Group is looking for a Car Sales Professional to join our team in Selma, AL. We are a family owned and operated dealership that has been serving Selma, AL and the surrounding areas for over 30 years. We are looking for someone that is a positive team player, that can work well with others, and has a desire to grow within the company.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a sales role preferred but not required.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Ability to build a solid understanding of the vehicle features offered.

Responsibilities
  • Prospecting customers and building relationships with potential sales by meeting with them at their home or business to discuss vehicle needs, options, and features.
  • Assist customers with their paperwork and finance terms.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by building rapport with customers and answering their questions about their vehicles and options.
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their experience.
  • Provide accurate information by using company software to gather data about customer preferences, needs, and complaints.
  • Follow-through on customer calls by communicating with them after sales actions are completed and providing feedback to the sales team.
  • Stay up to date on new products, services, policies, and programs offered by the company, local area businesses, trade associations, government agencies, and other sources of information related to your position.
