Description:
The Regional Product Representative is a key role at CoverSafe, focused on serving both new and existing pool builders. As a representative of CoverSafe, this position is responsible for driving new business opportunities, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting regional profitability in collaboration with regional leadership.

The Product Representative’s primary responsibility is to develop and maintain strong relationships with pool builders, both new and existing. In addition, this role provides education and guidance to pool builders on CoverSafe’s products, procedures, and specifications, ensuring proper understanding and application.

  • Complete pre-site visits with new builders to plan project details, obtain measurements, and relay information to Area Coordinators to support accurate quotes and successful sales closure
  • Enter customer information into Pavin The Way including; setting up new accounts, establishing pricing levels, and documentation of all follow up activities within the CRM System for all customers
  • Build a network of subcontractors related to our industry to assist builders as needed
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of our products; providing education where needed
  • Maintain knowledge of and assist builders on how to adhere to building codes
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new builders by networking at trade shows, through other builder or manufacturer referrals, and by direct outreach
  • Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships to drive sales by meeting in person with every builder in your territory who purchased over $30,000 in the prior year
  • Work in conjunction with product representatives from our manufacturers to close sales
  • Follow-up with customers for replacement fabrics and referral maintenance business
  • Maintain a knowledge of retail, builder, and competitors pricing in your area
  • Understand and adhere to the core principles of our customer service policy
  • Drive growth by attracting new builders through market analysis of each warehouse, assessing current market share, and identifying opportunities to increase our market share
  • Track and record all builder progress on Sales Target Sheets, with plans to transition documentation to Pavin The Way CRM once developed
  • Work collaboratively with regional leaders to ensure targeted sales growth and profitability of the region is being achieved
  • Attend weekly regional meetings and provide meaningful insight on sales growth and highlighting builders needing attention or additional support
  • Annually by December 1st, forecast the expected volume of new business for the upcoming year and document on the target list with insights drawn from in-depth market analysis, buying group members data, and prior year performance
  • Track sales year over year with builder accounts and provide remediation as needed
  • Make decisions with the regional field leader, regional coordinator, and the VP of Sales that affect the region as a whole contributing to the region’s profitability
  • Additional assigned duties as directed by the VP of Sales & Marketing

Requirements:

  • Leadership and communication skills
