SALES CONSULTANT – RISK SOFTWARE

Tetra Tech RPS Energy is seeking a Sales Consultant – Risk Software to support our Oil & Gas projects in Australia. Our preference of location for this role is Perth Australia, however we are open to discussing the possibility of other locations in Australia for the right candidate. We have flexible working opportunities, including part time roles, to ensure a balance of family and working life.
This role will sit as part of a small team who support the Oil & Gas industry in Australia. The opportunity is for a stand-alone Sales Consultant to provide sales and training in a Risk Management tool used in the industry. There is already a well established pipeline of clients, where you’ll support further development and engagement of their needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in software sales, with a focus on B2B sales and client management
  • Direct experience with software tool BowTie is advantageous
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets - excellent negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude combined with exceptional technical skills and a collaborative approached towards clients and colleagues.
  • Display a high level of initiative in following and/or interpreting instructions to achieve a positive result.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and convey them to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing active sales strategies, including active pursuit of volume-based Master Service Agreements with major clients and growing our customer base
Responsibilities
  • Sell technology software products and related services across Australia, Asia and other regions.
  • Develop a robust project pipeline and handle account planning, creating, owning and forecasting.
  • Complete own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.
  • Cold calling, prospecting new businesses, and making outbound calls.
  • Strategically design a plan to effectively manage the territory to maximize incoming revenue and profits
  • Identify and pursue new market opportunities to drive software sales growth.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales contracts in collaboration with the legal and finance teams.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding the needs and anticipating them in advance.
  • Provide training sessions and workshops for new and existing clients on software usage and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver customized training materials to meet client-specific needs.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, market trends, and client feedback to internal teams and the software vendor.
  • Stay informed about advancements in risk analysis software and industry developments to effectively position our product.
