Salon Centre is a Professional salon and spa distribution company, family owned and operated out of Winnipeg, MB. Salon Centre is looking for a dynamic employee to fill a established sales territory based out of Winnipeg, MB. The territory includes but is not limited to Winnipeg and surrounding area. This territory has been well managed with a ample of growth potential still to be had.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop relationships with key account owners on current account list.
  • Identify new business opportunities through referral and cold calling within territory
  • Communicate and work cohesively with the other territory sales consultants and the regional store.
  • Support Sales Managers with market objectives, forecasting, and sales strategy development.
  • Achieve revenue, market share, and sales specific performance indicators.
  • Achieve distribution targets on new product launches.
  • Have a passion for accomplishing goals and the ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Demonstrate unquestionable integrity by adhering to all company policies and procedures and trust at all levels.
  • Use items like social media, and technology to network and provide information.

Desired Experience, Qualifications and Competencies:

  • A passion for Professional salon industry and the fast-paced nature of the industry, and idiosyncrasies of the consumers and customers that make it dynamic and ever changing.
  • A proven and passionate sales individual who’s focus is on customer service and knowledge of products.
  • Experience working within a distribution channel in an outside sales role is an asset.
  • Strong time management skills, positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
  • Experience with excel, email, and online shopping an asset. as well as social media and zoom online communication platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and negotiation skills to deal with different key customers.
  • Ability to operate independently with an open attitude to ask questions and learn.
  • Reaches decisions to difficult problems by using and appropriate mix of insightful analysis, experience, intuition and judgement
  • Ability to use information given to help clients drive business
  • Use manufacture programs and tools to help clients with profitability.

Must have valid drivers license. Be comfortable driving in winter. Residing in Winnipeg is preferred as the territory is Winnipeg , and surrounding areas.
