Description

We are hiring for a Wedding Sales Consultant at our wonderful wedding venue The Larimore!
The Larimore is a unique historical venue, it sits on 6 acres of property and you truly feel transported to somewhere else as soon as you step foot on the property. It has been under new ownership since September 2023, now owned by The Gilchrist Collection, a collection of 12 beautiful wedding venues in the US and UK.
NOTE ABOUT LISTED SALARY: The base salary is $40,000/year. This is JUST a base as this is a highly commissioned based role – the commission structure is quite good and depending on the sales ability of the applicant, could easily lead to income of $80,000-90,000 a year.

The Sales role will include but not limited to:

  • Responding to all inquiries and leads that reach out about the venue promptly and professionally. This includes tracking and responding to any leads that come directly from the website, calling in, wedding websites, ads, Google, social media, etc.
  • Having a full understanding and knowledge of the venue, the services it offers, the prices, the rental contract, policies and all information about the venue to be able to answer any question from potential clients.
  • Conducting tours of the venue. Creating contracts and invoices for the wedding sales.
  • Updating all administrative spreadsheets and creating wedding folders for sold weddings.
  • Meeting sales expectations weekly and taking the initiative to get training on any areas you may feel you are lacking in order to reach your goals.

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop effective relationships

  • Works well within a close team but also able to work under your own initiative
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
  • Previous experience in a sales role is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Google Drive is preferred

Full time office based role, 40 hours with a heavy weekend based schedule.
