JUST RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS ARE LOOKING FOR A SALES CONTROLLER FOR OUR CLIENT, A MAIN DEALERSHIP BASED IN NEAR NEW SOUTHGATE.

About you: You will already be in a Sales Controller position in the Motor Industry or you will be a high achieving, fully qualified Sales Executive with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within the motor industry who has a sound understanding of the Sales Process. Applications for this role are invited from individuals who have previously worked in Automotive Sales and are able to demonstrate ability and record of achieving targets and delivering exceptional customer service.

Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with experience of working as part of a team with shared objectives and personal performance goals.
About the Role: As a Sales Controller, you will Assist the Sales Manager to implement departmental activities and action plans to support the achievement of the agreed budgets and objectives.

Responsibilities

DETAIL OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR FULFILMENT OF ROLE (NOT AN EXHAUSTIVE LIST)

· Support sales prospecting and follow-up activity across the team to generate additional sales business and retain existing customers.
· Support the sales team to progress prospective customer enquires within Dealerweb.
· Implement activities and action plans to support the achievement of the agreed budgets and targets.
· Monitor paperwork quality through Audit processes. Work with the Sales Manager to implement training following audit advisories and failures.
· Work with the Sales Manager to calculate and present a finance quote to every customer in accordance with Consumer Duty
· Liaise with Marketing to ensure the website is up to date with headline finance offers
· Intervene and give advice where support is needed relating to finance/insurance in customer sales negotiations (2nd Facing).
· Complete sales contracts which meet customer needs and sales objectives including all ITC controlled documents in our Consumer Duty processes.
· Work with Sales Manager and Marketing to maximise the potential of FISC/eMaster.
· Ensure the sales team maintain and develop good relationships with customers by meeting and exceeding their expectations and working in accordance with the company and Renault Standards, utilising and maximising e-Reputation, Mystery Shop and Google Reviews.
· Work with the Sales Manager to train the team on Mystery Shop Standards.
· Complete all administrative functions, returns and record keeping in an accurate and timely manner.
· Log all activity to monitor performance and measure outcomes then provides regular feedback- Deal file returns and compliance are met on every outcome.
· Understand and comply with all appropriate Consumer Duty/FCA/GDPR sales legislation relevant to the department.
· Comply with all Health and Safety legislation to ensure safety and well-being of self, colleagues, customers and visitors.
· Complete any other appropriate sales activities as specified by the Sales Manager.
· Work with the Sales Manager to effectively manage getting Used stock from New Car part exchange to market.

MAIN ASPECTS OF JOB PURPOSE:

· Ensure each customer receives an exceptional experience on every occasion
· Ensure the sales team continuously deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction.
· Ensure agreed New & Used Business sales volume targets are met in line with monthly budgets
· Ensure gross profit targets are met through the optimisation of sales and peripheral income opportunities, combined with appropriate control of costs and expenditure.
· Ensure showroom control processes and procedures are followed consistently with every customer
· Achieve the customer satisfaction objectives, and ensure that each opportunity is taken to continuously improve the working methods and standards within the showroom environment
· Ensure effective documentation as per the Deal File Document Checklist

REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:

· Job Holder must hold FCA/SAF accreditation
· Identification and resolution of dissatisfied customers issues in a professional and empathetic manner
· Build strong interdepartmental relationships, and to pay close attention to the requirements of those departments
· Pay close attention to administrative details, ensuring documentation is clear and legible and deadlines are achieved for internal controls.
· Work independently in a busy, active environment, managing workflow, own time, and that of others
· Present a consistently professional image to all customers through attitude, behaviour, and personal appearance
· Maintain up to date knowledge about new products, systems, and services
· Implement showroom controls and convince others of their benefits, encouraging full utilisation

TO FULFIL THIS ROLE, THE JOB HOLDER WILL NEED AN ABILITY TO:

· Demonstrate awareness of the Local New and Used Van Network and possess a good understanding
· Latest finance promotions from Manufacturers
· Appropriate customer handling skills
· Supervisory knowledge and skills
· Competitors’ products and prices
· Vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practices
· FCA and F&I regulations & legislation, trade practices
