Description Sales Coordinator & Estimator Trainee Growth Path to Sales Estimator (12 Months) Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and growth-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales Coordinator & Estimator Trainee. This role is designed as a development position, with the goal of transitioning into a full Sales Estimator within 12 months. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who wants to build a long-term career in the painting and property services industry, combining field experience, operations knowledge, and sales training. Compensation & Schedule Starting Pay: $25.00-30.00/hour DOE Commission: Ability to earn commissions Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week with occasional overtime Equipment: Company-provided iPad Growth Potential: Future opportunity to earn $100,000-150,000+ annually as a Sales Estimator, after first year Key Responsibilities Support Senior Estimator Attend/ drive to estimates with Senior Estimator Take accurate measurements and detailed project notes Capture and upload project photos into PaintScout Enter and manage data within CRM/pipeline systems Assist in creating and updating PaintScout templates Follow up with clients on estimates and proposals Send “job won” communications and document key project details Support scheduling handoffs to operations Participate in sales and operations meetings Assist with light prospecting and networking during slower periods What You Will Learn Full painting and production process from start to finish Estimating techniques and pricing strategy CRM and estimating software (PaintScout) Customer experience and communication standards Sales cycle: lead ? estimate ? follow-up ? close How to build rapport and earn customer trust What Success Looks Like Strong understanding of field operations and production standards Ability to support and improve estimator efficiency Accurate and detailed estimate preparation Consistent follow-up and communication with clients Gradual progression toward independently running estimates and closing job Ideal Candidate Strong attention to detail and organization Positive attitude with a willingness to learn Excellent communication and customer service skills Self-motivated and growth-oriented Comfortable working both in the field and in a client-facing role Interest in building a long-term career in sales and operations Requirements Transportation & Licensing Valid driver’s license with no major violations (must be insurable under company policy) Reliable personal vehicle available for daily use Ability and willingness to travel to job sites, client homes, and the office as needed Availability & Work Ethic Full-time availability, including occasional early mornings or evenings based on client schedules Ability to manage a flexible schedule and adapt to changing priorities Strong sense of urgency and responsiveness Physical Requirements Ability to walk job sites, including uneven terrain, ladders, and stairs Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (ladders, samples, materials) Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Technology & Organization Comfortable using CRM systems (PaintScout or similar), email, and mobile apps Strong attention to detail with data entry, measurements, and documentation Ability to stay organized while managing multiple leads, estimates, and follow-ups Communication & Professionalism Strong verbal and written communication skills Professional appearance and demeanor when interacting with clients Ability to build trust quickly and represent a premium brand Growth Mindset Willingness to learn painting systems, estimating, and sales processes Open to feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement Desire to grow into a full Sales Estimator role within 6–12 months Preferred (Not Required) Experience in construction, painting, or home services Previous customer service or sales experience
