POSITION SUMMARY The Sales Coordinator supports the Sales Manager(s) in preparing group business dossiers within the hotel, from the initial client contact through negotiation and rate management, to the final contract conclusion.  She/he manages all incoming group requests and ensures they are handled and followed up appropriately.  She/he regularly follows up on ongoing files in order to maximize contract conversion and revenue development.  She/he participates in customer relationship management and contributes to customer loyalty SPECIFIC DUTIES Customer Relationship: * Assists the sales teams in handling incoming client requests in a timely manner and in accordance with company standards; * Anticipates clients’ needs by asking questions to better understand their expectations, records client preferences, and anticipates requests whenever possible; * Builds personal relationships with clients regarding their stay, hotel services, and local points of interest; * Actively listens to clients and responds to requests using courteous and positive language, while handling and resolving any client complaints; * Handles client needs efficiently and professionally; * Warmly thanks the client; * Participates in phone calls and/or client meetings to generate new requests and/or close ongoing business; * Requests feedback from clients to ensure satisfaction or to identify incidents encountered, in order to propose corrective actions. • Sales Management: * Solicits and qualifies existing accounts to develop booking opportunities; * Identifies, qualifies, and solicits new client requests in order to achieve personal sales objectives while complying with company standards; * Manages all requests firmly and positively to maximize potential revenue; * Closes the best possible contracts in line with sales objectives previously defined with the Reactive Sales Manager; * Assists the Reactive Sales Manager in handling incoming requests. • Communication: * Communicates with colleagues and clients using clear, appropriate, and professional language; * Assists colleagues and ensures their duties are well understood; * Communicates service needs or potential issues to colleagues discreetly, outside of guest areas; * Answers the telephone using standard greeting phrases, within a maximum of three rings, using a warm and friendly tone and addressing the client by name whenever possible; * Assists the Reactive Sales Manager with sales analysis and financial data analysis, in collaboration with the Revenue Management department; * Ensures necessary follow-up with clients; * Requests client feedback to ensure satisfaction or to identify issues encountered and propose corrective actions. • Procedures and Standards: * Protects the security and confidentiality of guest and colleague information; * Maintains confidentiality of company equipment and data; * Complies with all company and/or departmental procedures. • Human Resources: * Establishes and maintains open and efficient working relationships with all team members; * Ensures completion of mandatory internal training and Marriott International virtual training; * Ensures that team members complete all mandatory internal training and Marriott International virtual training; * Ensures that hotel and/or group standards and procedures are consistently applied, and that any disciplinary procedures are documented and compliant with company standards, procedures, and internal regulations; * Leads by example and conveys the company’s vision and values by promoting and applying them: * Putting people at the heart of our priorities * Striving for excellence * Embracing change * Acting with integrity * Serving the world REQUIRED SKILLS: * Professional attitude * Customer relationship skills * Responsiveness * Excellent personal presentation * Availability * Warm and friendly demeanor * Fluent English & French * Knowledge of a third language preferred This job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to changes or the addition of further responsibilities. Offer details: * Status : Agent de Maîtrise – Niveau IV – Echelon 1 * Trial period : 3 mois - renouvelable une fois * Weekly working hours : 39 heures * Gross monthly salary scale : 2.200€ - 2.500€ Other advantages : A food allowance  Allocated according to the guaranteed minimum, under reserve to fulfill the conditions set by the legal and contractual provisions in place. Annual Vacations : 25 days (in proportion of the time of presence). Bank Holidays Guaranteed : 7 bank holidays per year. Seniority bonus : Seniority bonus after 5 year within the property.
