POSITION SUMMARY

Perform sales tasks, including prospecting, tracking, quoting, hiring, and converting group and event opportunities into final ones. Prepare sales-related documents during the sales process (e.g., proposals and contracts). Promote awareness of the brand image internally and externally. Utilize sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty to Marriott. Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., leads) into software involved in the sales process. Answer guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g. hours of operation, room rates and types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events). Serve as a point of contact for customers and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. English language of at least 90%
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
