We are seeking a dynamic Sales Coordinator person to join our team. This unique individual must possess excellent organization and communication skills in customer relations, Sales Coordinators provide administrative assistance and support to sales managers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Applicants must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly. They must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle everyday situations quickly and effectively.

  • Office Administration Background
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
  • Great Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows, MS Word, Excel & Outlook.
  • Self-motivated and creative in problem solving.
  • Detail orientated and be able to work within deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy.
  • Building and maintaining existing relationships.
  • Prepare sales proposals to clients incorporating clearly defined terms and conditions.
  • Establish an effective sales call cycle for key customers, partners and contacts.
  • Maintain a clear line of communication on sales commitments to Hotel/Chain Operations.
  • Work to achieve agreed goals and objectives.

APPLICABLE SKILLS:

  • A minimum of two years hotel sales experience
  • Diploma or Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management would be an asset.
  • Commitment to exceeding guest expectations.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of a variety of computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Opera.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to set priorities for self

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive sales and administrative support to the Sales Team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Manage client files and maintain accurate records to support seamless communication and follow-up.
  • Conduct in-house and off-site sales calls, building strong relationships with clients and partners.
  • Prepare detailed proposals and contracts, ensuring terms and conditions are clearly outlined.
  • Oversee all aspects of group sales, including contract management and coordination with internal departments.
  • Monitor and manage Tour and FIT (Free Independent Traveler) blocks to optimize occupancy and revenue.
  • Organize and maintain group files, ensuring key hotel departments have the necessary information.
  • Proactively follow up on guest experiences before, during, and after their stay to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Maintain a detailed Calendar of Events and track corporate client engagements.
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to expand market presence.
  • Ensure reservation and inventory accuracy to maximize both guest satisfaction and hotel revenue.
  • Assist with making and modifying reservations as needed.
  • Participate in internal meetings and strategy discussions, contributing valuable insights and feedback.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support the overall success of the sales and hospitality operations.
