 $1000 sign-on bonus JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Responsible for effectively coordinating and supervising all group arrivals, ensuring optimum guest service and satisfaction. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: •The “hub” of communication for the sales department. •To cultivate the social market (wedding receptions, rehearsal parties, birthday, anniversary parties etc. •To book and control overnight rooms blocks within the social market specifically wedding blocks, etc. •Typing all contracts for both catering sales and group room sales including BEO’s. •Creating a master (bucket account system) of all catering/group room blocks. •Organizing and creating as needed weekly (BEO/sheets meeting). •Maintaining communications with all other pertinent departments for BEO/functions, group rooms. •Pulling function sheets (two weeks out) contacting meeting, when necessary, with customers for menu and all specific details, up-selling events. •Contacting customers for rooming lists, form of payment, advance deposits, tax exempt forms, etc. •Creating, updating, and dispersing of the (add, change, cancel) sheet for all departments. •Maintaining minutes from Sales office meetings. •In-putting group blocks, rooming lists into Web Res Pro system. •All other duties as assigned.
