Overview:
The YMCA of Superior California seeks a driven and results-oriented Sales Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Sales and Retention Director, the Sales Coordinator will grow membership sales across the association. Cross-department communication within a variety of programs and departments will be imperative. This includes Membership, Health & Wellness (personal training, Pilates, etc.), Sports, and Aquatics. Additionally, this role will develop, support, and execute strategies for corporate membership and services sales and will assist with special events that enhance member satisfaction throughout the year.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Sales and Retention Director to design and implement sales strategies, adhering to established protocols to meet sales targets.
- Drive individual and corporate membership acquisition and conversion through lead generation, outreach, and relationship building within the region of the YMCA of Superior California.
- Engage in B2B activities, public relations, off-site sales meetings, and other types of lead generation as assigned.
- Identify and respond to community needs, tailoring YMCA membership,services, and program offerings to attract a diverse membership.
- Track and analyze sales metrics, adjusting strategies to optimize results in alignment with YMCA goals.
- Coordinate with program leaders to cross-promote services, and to provide comprehensive health and wellness solutions.
- Assist in planning and supporting special events that enhance member experience and satisfaction throughout the year, such as Healthy Kids Day,Annual Support Campaign, and S’moresfest.
- Schedule and provide Cause Driven Tours at various branch locations withinthe YMCA of Superior California.
- Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as required to support broader YMCA operations.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to maintain skills and knowledge of industry best practices
Qualifications:
- Proven success in sales, ideally within membership-based organizations or health and wellness industries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship building.
- Ability to manage time effectively, with attention to detail.
- Passion for the YMCA’s mission and values, with a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Ability to travel within the greater Sacramento area to visit YMCA branches.
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and across departments, to achieve organizational goals
- Flexibility to work across multiple branch locations within the association as needed.

Posted Salary Range: USD $23.07 - USD $23.07 /Hr
