Within Global Corporate Sales, the Corporate Solutions team aims to contribute to the group’s revenue growth through a cross-asset mandate that allows Global Markets to engage with the rest of the CIB businesses in relevant client transactions.
Under this role, you will be responsible for supporting the structuring and selling of financial solutions to CIB clients in the UK and Continental Europe by senior members of the Corporate Solutions team, together with other Global Corporate Sales team members, being fully integrated within the UK Corporate Sales team. Relevant transactions are Strategic Equity deals, SFTs, as well as FX and Interest Rates deals linked to BBVA’s bilateral dialogues with its clients, with a particular focus on engaging on advisory mandates, underwritings, and strategic client transactions (M&A, corporate restructurings, etc.).
Provide and distribute Balance Sheet solutions (derivatives, structures…) to BBVA corporate clients. Assist the unit in the development and maintenance of client relationships, providing them with products to satisfy their hedging needs.

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE:

  • Academic background: Business Administration and Management, Economics, and Engineering.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in finance is highly valuable.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE:

  • Strong financial and analytical knowledge.
  • Ability to achieve agreed-upon goals with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Professional proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, , Bloomberg, and Murex.
  • Financial knowledge of the Global Markets environment highly desirable.
