Be the Connection That Opens the Door The Sales Counselor plays a vital part in supporting our Sales Department by coordinating key administrative and sales functions that help sustain and grow Independent Living occupancy. Serving as a primary point of contact for prospective residents, this position guides individuals and families through every step of the journey, from initial inquiry and tours to applications and move-ins, ensuring a seamless, welcoming experience. In this role, you will maintain accurate waitlist and CRM records, assist with unit turnover coordination, and support resident onboarding preparations. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams while building meaningful connections with external prospects, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to a person-centered, relationship-driven approach. The result? A smooth sales cycle and a positive first impression that sets the tone for a resident's new chapter. This position is full-time with day shift hours. Your responsibilities will include: Responds to customer inquiries via email/telephone, ensuring accuracy of information provided. Conducts prospect tours, including an overview of marketing materials, accurately answering questions, reviewing the application process, and showing campus amenities and select Independent Living (IL) units. Assists in maintaining the IL wait list, making periodic courtesy calls to those on the waitlist to keep information accurate and up to date. Processes and enters all new applicant/resident required paperwork into CRM database. Performs Megan’s Law and criminal background checks on all new applicants/residents. Manages the complete sales cycle, including unit offering, scheduling of contract signing, assisting with design selection appointments, and unit settlement. Performs outreach calls and unit offering for open IL units, per guidelines and procedures. Ensures all selections have required sign-offs and upgrades are paid by the designated deadline. Helps to maintain the IL photo directory. Attends other departmental meetings as requested by the Director of Sales & Marketing. Manages and maintains all unit turnover projects in Worxhub. Process all selections through Worxhub and place vendor orders accordingly. Creates welcome binders and welcome bags for new residents moving to campus. Communicates prospect concerns, requests, and recommendations to the Director of Sales & Marketing. Attends trade shows, seminars, and speaking engagements as requested by management. Qualifications What You Bring to the Table Licensed and Road-Ready: Possession of a valid PA Driver’s License in good standing. Educational Foundation: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field. Social Media Savvy: Demonstrated proficiency in using social media platforms to engage audiences, promote brand awareness, and support outreach strategies. Tech-Confident: Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with the ability to create professional documents, reports, and presentations. Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences. Highly Organized: Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects under deadlines. Creative Thinker: Brings fresh ideas, visual storytelling skills, and strategic thinking to marketing initiatives and campaign planning.
