JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales and design, with the ability to engage clients effectively and provide tailored solutions for their renovation and construction needs. This role requires a blend of creativity, technical knowledge, and exceptional customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction and drive sales.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in outside sales or high-end home renovations is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with renovation and construction processes is a plus.
  • Proficiency in design software is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills in English; multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in customer service roles with a focus on building relationships and providing exceptional support.
  • Basic math skills for accurate pricing and transaction handling.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct consultations with clients to understand their design needs and preferences.
  • Utilize your own software to create visual representations of design concepts.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing, including upselling products and services.
  • Provide product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively.
  • Maintain relationships with clients through account management, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional materials and strategies that highlight design offerings.
  • Handle transactions accurately
  • Demonstrate strong negotiation skills to secure favourable terms for both the client and the company.
  • Engage in outside sales activities, including networking events and community outreach, to expand the client base.
