We are seeking a Sales & Design Consultant to join us on a fixed term contract basis at our new homeware retail concept store in the Metrocentre.

This 9 month position as Sales & Design Consultant plays a super important role at Rowen and if you’re reading this and are highly motivated, ambitious, genuine, inspiring and caring, we want you!
What you are going to do:
- Work 32 hours per week across a variety of days on a rota on a 9 month fixed contract basis. Occasional overtime may be required during peak trading times.
- Deliver a smiley, engaging customer experience that makes a lasting impression
- Ensure the visual presentation of our store is maintained to an exceptional standard at all times, representing our brand and merchandising guidelines.
- Make sure all of our glam goods are regularly replenished.
- Work towards and achieve sales targets on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Assist customers to find products that meets their needs, dreams and aspirations
- Handle cash in line with the company policy / process
- Build and maintain amazing relationships with your store colleagues and add positive energy to the store team
- Handle deliveries and stock control as requested
- Assist in ensuring all stockrooms are maintained to a high standard with all stock accessible and treated with respect
- Be resourceful and versatile in response to changing demands of the retail
- Comply with and uphold health and safety procedures and guidance in the workplace
What you are going to need:
- Previous sales experience is preferred.
- A home and interiors interest.
- Be a positive, highly engaged and motivated individual who has a passion for delighting their customers through delivering exceptional service every time
- Thrive on achieving, have a competitive nature, enjoy that your individual contribution means your team succeed
- Be driven, resilient, have excellent time keeping and take pride in your work
- Have excellent communication skills and be comfortable presenting to our customers
- Good observation skills with an eye for detail, exceptional organisational and problem solving skills

- The ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
- An ability to be flexible in your working hours, including at our busiest times of the week such as weekends.
