Description

ABOUT US

Lilliput Play Homes was founded over thirty years ago with the building of a single backyard playhouse for our founder’s daughter. Since then, our business has grown into a nationally recognized brand, creating imaginative playhouses and themed environments for families, schools, museums, libraries, and commercial play centers across the world. From charming backyard cottages to fully customized play villages, our team of designers, woodworkers, painters, and installers craft every project with the same care and creativity as that very first playhouse.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and personable individual to join our team as a Sales & Design Support Coordinator. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships with clients, working with a creative team, and managing office operations. While the role focuses heavily on sales, marketing, and administrative support, a background in design—or an eye for style and branding—will be a strong advantage, especially for creating content and projects in Lilliput’s signature look and trade dress.

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an enthusiastic and professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software.
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience or interest in design (programs such as SketchUp, Revit, CAD, Photoshop, or Illustrator) is a plus but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • A natural eye for style, branding, and detail is highly valued.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely, clear, and professional communication by phone and email.
  • Guide clients through the sales process, from initial inquiry to final delivery, ensuring a positive and personalized experience.
  • Support the sales team with proposals, order tracking, and client follow-ups.
  • Assist with administrative duties including maintaining organized files, placing material orders, supporting inventory needs, and general office management.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure client visions align with Lilliput’s products and services.
  • Contribute to brand storytelling by helping create marketing content, coordinating small design projects, or offering input on style, color, and presentation.
  • Provide occasional support to team members in both office and workshop environments, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
