POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Development Associate is responsible for generating new business opportunities through proactive outreach and cold calling. This position plays a key role in building the sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and engaging prospective clients. The role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and the ability to handle a high volume of outreach activities on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 0–2 years of sales, cold calling, telemarketing, or business development experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform outbound cold calling and manage high-volume prospecting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound cold calling (50–100+ calls daily) to targeted prospects.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cold calls, cold emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Research and identify potential clients by industry, geography, and decision-maker role.
  • Qualify leads based on prospect needs, company services, and decision-making authority.
  • Schedule and coordinate qualified appointments and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of outreach activity and lead status in the company CRM system.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly activity goals for calls, emails, and qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to improve messaging, target lists, and conversion strategies.
  • Track market trends, customer feedback, and competitor information to support the sales strategy.
