QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • Ideally around 2-3 years in a technical Office environment, where similar type of work is undertaken i.e. small, high value batch volume products
  • Advanced Maths & English, equivalent vocational, academic qualification or significant related work experience at an equivalent level (desirable)
  • Proficient communications skills (written and verbal).
  • Proven skills with effective Office software (Excel & word on a daily basis, ideally)
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Prior experience using an ERP system
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Technical Development Coordinator to support our repairs, technical & sales teams and ensure smooth and efficient operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong organisation skills and ability to manage multiple enquiries and tasks. It is essential that they have experience from a technical products background and be technically & commercially minded. The successful candidate could be a graduate with a technical or STEM degree and some experience within a technical environment, but they must be comfortable talking with people from all aspects of the business and understanding technical requirements.
This role plays a crucial part in streamlining and coordinating processes, maintaining accurate records and contributing to the growth and success of the company.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to enquiries and ensuring timely follows ups.
  • Creation and submission of aftermarket quotations
  • Support of the product repair quotation process
  • Manage customer expectations, meeting and communications by being the first point of contact for new development, aftermarket and repairs enquiries.
  • Maintain, review and update all supporting sales documents and maintain the sales enquiry log document
  • Convey customer requirements to internal project teams at initial Value Stream Gate reviews
  • Attend external meetings and complete actions arising from these meetings
  • Contract and risk assessment creation.
  • Screening of customer enquiries in line with company processes
